Writers' Challenge
Writers...this is a unique opportunity to see your material come to life.  We are looking for scripts to be used in current and upcoming challenges.  If you have a creepy, unnerving or just plain interesting idea, write a script that can be produced into an 11- or 22-minute "mini-movie", and submit it to the Chilling Tales series.  Or, if you have an idea of your own for an original series, you can submit it to the Freestyle Writing Competition.

Scripts will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges.  Selected winners will be used in current and future challenge projects.  At least one pilot or compilation episode from each series will be submitted to a film festival.  All writers whose material is used in festival submissions will recieve IMDb credit.  Profits generated by commercial distribution will be shared by contributing participants (see terms).

In general, submissions should...

...contain a story that can be told within either an 11- or 22-minute segment.

...have simple props & location requirements (try to avoid really expensive stuff that might be difficult for              independent filmmakers to produce).

...be somewhat vague (when possible) in regards to character descriptions, so that a wide range of
independent filmmakers can submit projects for the series.

Do you have a great idea for a feature film?  Check out the Indie Film Screenplay Challenge.
